About Us

Frésko was founded in 2020 by Shontelle Rabothata, initially focusing on providing toiletries to students. As I began to listen to their challenges, I offered advice and guidance. Over time, I realized that the youth, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds, face significant struggles. Many cannot afford psychological support, their parents may not recognize their difficulties, and they often lack someone to confide in. Mental health is a topic that many parents find difficult to address. I understood that the youth need mentorship, guidance, and knowledge about entrepreneurship, especially given the current economic climate that calls for more inventors and innovators. Consequently, I started recruiting volunteers to expand our reach and assist as many individuals as possible. Our support has now grown to include unemployed youth aged 17-35. We also emphasize the importance of being grounded in Christ, as we are a Christian NGO.

We provide education on various important topics, including health and hygiene, leadership, mental health, social media, entrepreneurship, relationships, and artificial intelligence. We collaborate with experts who come to share their knowledge on these subjects. Twice a month, we prepare meals for those in need, and we collect and distribute clothing to those who require assistance. We are constantly seeking donations and funds to expand our outreach and support as many individuals as possible. Our headquarters is located in Limpopo, and we aspire to extend our efforts beyond our province. For any inquiries, please feel free to contact us.
